Loni Kaye Anderson (born August 5, 1946 in St. Paul, Minnesota) is an American actress, best known for her role as bodacious with an attitude "Jennifer Marlowe" on the television sitcom WKRP in Cincinnati and as a former wife of Burt Reynolds (from 1988 to 1993). Her divorcement from either Reynolds was the bitterly, easily-publicized debacle.

When she tells it around her autobiography, The Life around High Heels, her father was originally attend title her "Leiloni", then again realized to his horror that once she had to her adolescent years it was liable to become twisted into "Lay Loni". Thus it was changed to upright obviously "Loni".

Shortly fallowing her divorcement from either Reynolds, she appeared as a regular in the final year (1993-1994) on the NBC sitcom Nurses.
